I’ve thought long and hard about it, and I really don’t have anything to say these days. So, I think I’m gonna pull things down.
Wait, scratch that. I have lots to say, I’m just tired of listening to me.
The end result is the same (can you tell Christmas is upon us?)
But I like to know what you are thinking about.
Don’t go!
Oh, or at least spare me the pain and just call it a “hiatus”.
See, the problem is I write as “me”. I can’t write what I want to write sometimes because of the folks who read. The more I find myself censoring myself, the less useful I find this forum.
While the interweeb is excellent for some things, it completely sucks ass at trying to figure out why things are what they are.
I need an imaginary friend other than beer.
You can be ‘you’ as much as you’d like out there, and email / phone will take care of the rest 🙂
This sounds like a job for:
ANONORANT!
No seriously. We need an anonorant tool on pintday.
Captcha the hell out of it to make sure it’s people,
not bots, and then let the masses go at ‘er
What if everyone wrote the blog entries but posted it on someone else’s?
How about the wheat and chaff approach, er chaff and winnow “encryption”, add all kinds of non-authenticated posts where the names of the parties vary?
or just postsecret?
but… but… i come here to know what’s going on with kev these days.. not to read about ideas, or rants..
but just to get a feel of how things are going with my friends.
making it anonymous would defeat the purpose.. cutting it altogether is even worse! unless kev starts emailing everyone 🙂
I think it’s because sometimes things really get under my skin, and I’d like nothing more than to go for a beer and talk about said things with a living, breathing human. Electronic communication is decent to a point, but more often than not of late I don’t feel I have someone I can turn to and say “blargh”.
Knowing how things are going is one thing. When things aren’t going well and there’s no opportunity for human contact, it’s pretty fucking sucktacular.
It could be I’m just being a suck, but lack of contact, hotel rooms, and hours on end in an airplane is really taking it’s toll. I still haven’t taken the tags of my couches, and they arrived over a month ago.
Hrmm… maybe I’ll just complain all the time… not that anyone would see a difference 🙂
Blogs rarely buy the next round, it’s true.
