I&#8217;m also not a big fan of my <abbr title=\"Macbook pro\">mbp <\/abbr> meeting the same, scratched-to-shit fate as my Ti.<\/p>\n<p>enter <a href=\"http:\/\/gelaskins.com\">GelaSkins<\/a>, a Toronto-based company that takes prints and fits them to laptop sized sheets of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3m.com\">3M<\/a> film. the film has a nifty adhesive that allows you to position it properly on the lid, and then press it in place with nary a bubble. smoooooth. it&#8217;s also thick enough that you really can&#8217;t see the glowing apple (another plus, in my books).<\/p>\n<p>I saw them a couple months ago on one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/gadgets\/apple\/gelaskins-totally-awesome-macbook-skins-254082.php\">tech blogs<\/a>, and then <a href=\"http:\/\/dria.org\/\">deb<\/a> reminded me of them the other day in a tweet to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.numenity.org\/blog\/\">pkim<\/a>. I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today. installation was &quot;wipe down laptop, peel, stick, smooth&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>this is the result.
