Seems I have a wee bit of a problem with my new camera. It looks like the glass filter that covers the CMOS is cracked (the lens is sparkling, and when I look at the sensor I see a line going side to side that matches the shape I see in the pics exactly, and it’s not a hair). Here’s a sample<\/a> of the pretty pictures it takes now. No I have not dropped it. Yes I’ve been way super careful with it. And no I did not leave it in the hot sun and then popped it in the freezer to cool it down.<\/p>\n Goddamn it. If it’s not one thing, it’s another.
