withdrawl

It’s been a long week.

Walt, Lee, and the kids left this morning, and I can’t help but notice how empty the house is now. It’s unbelievably depressing, but it was so nice to have them here for the weekend.

Apologies for the quiet, I’ve been dealing with my basement turning into a bathtub (twice!), a BBQ for as many friends as I could find, and a visit from some of my favourite people in the world. It’s been a shitty, crappy, fun, excellent, tiring, and thought-provoking seven days.

I’ve had fun, but I’m a little overwhelmed right now. I have a garage full of crap that I just can’t deal with, so I’m going to go and enjoy the holiday and have a beer or three.

More later. Promise.

  1. We had an amazing time.

The kids tore the house up (not to mention mom and dad), so the flooding must look like child’s play 🙂

Can’t wait to blow through town again. Hurricaine Jake!
